Based in Orewa since 2019, Michelle’s Organic Hair Studio is a full service organic hair salon. Providing quality cuts, styling and colour services to all members of your family. We use Organic Colour Systems colour, care and styling range, both in salon and for you at home.
From the moment you step in the door, you will notice the organic difference. No nasty smelling chemicals, just a beautiful organic experience.

MICHELLE – DIRECTOR & SENIOR STYLIST
I’m Michelle, owner and senior stylist here at Michelle’s Organic Hair Studio.
I started my hairdressing journey when I was just 15, working part time in a salon while I was still at school. I was offered an apprenticeship and was fully qualified by 19. The drive to own my own salon was there from early on, and I started my first salon in 2004.
I absolutely love making people look the best they can look, and helping them feel happy.
I have used top brands previously and saw more and more people having reactions, and felt companies weren’t transparent about what’s in their product. I was committed to finding something that doesn’t compromise beauty, but more importantly, doesn’t make you sick. This is when I made the switch to Organic Colour Systems. It was amazing to find a company that was honest, and products that I could be confident in and believe in.
I love helping people reduce the chemicals in their life, and love helping people understand what’s in the products they are using, to achieve wonderful, healthy hair.
I have been based in Orewa since 2019 and live here with my husband, two wonderful children and beloved dog.
